Troubleshooting Your Eufy Video Doorbell’s Charging Issues

If your Eufy doorbell stops charging, it could be due to any of the causes listed above. Regardless of the cause, it’s important to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Fortunately, I have found several solutions to this issue and have personally tested some of them by intentionally creating the charging problem. Rest assured that by implementing one of these solutions, you’ll have your Eufy doorbell up and running in no time.

1. Charge your Eufy Doorbell with a different charger

If you find that your Eufy doorbell is not charging, the first step is to inspect the charger. To do so, we recommend trying to charge your doorbell with a different charger that has a 5V/2A rating.

If the issue persists, try switching out the USB cable and attempting to charge your doorbell again. By following these steps, you can troubleshoot the charging issue with your Eufy doorbell and get it back up and running in no time.

2. Keep Your Eufy Doorbell and Ring App Up-to-Date

If you’re experiencing a false reading of low battery strength on your Ring app, it’s likely due to a misreading of the signal. Fortunately, this issue can easily be resolved. Simply ring the doorbell or refresh the app to fix the problem. Don’t forget to regularly update your doorbell and app to ensure top-notch performance.

3. Replace Your Eufy Video Doorbell Batteries

The Eufy Doorbell’s built-in lithium-ion battery has a limited lifespan like any other battery. Once it reaches the end of its lifespan, it will need to be replaced to avoid charging issues.
